Watershed is powered by moments of activity called statements. Sources ranging from mobile apps to learning management systems are connected to Watershed, and as users perform actions in these sources, statements are sent into Watershed. The statement viewer shows every statement that has been sent to your Watershed account. It is a great tool to troubleshoot data issues.
This article consists of 3 main sections:
Getting to the Statement Viewer
To access the statement viewer, choose Debug from the Settings menu or click Debug on any page in Settings page.
Statement Viewer Orientation
This statement viewer is an unfiltered, real-time feed of every xAPI statement in your organization's Watershed account:
- The top options can be used to filter your statements.
- Clicking on a statement reveals the raw JSON code that makes up the statement. For the most part, people use this to troubleshoot issues:
- Click the More… button at the bottom of the stream to load more statements onto your screen.
Statement Viewer Filters and Options
You can filter statements in the statement viewer using the options at the top of the page. These search options are used primarily by advanced Watershed users or developers to set up and troubleshoot sources sending statements to Watershed. To search, type a value into one or more of the fields and click the Refresh button.
